crawling . . . good news and bad

Jonathan is officially crawling around everywhere. For awhile he could only scoot or make his way around backwards, but he has finally figured out how to crawl, and he loves it!

Jonathan gets upset when he gets left alone in a room, or somebody walks by him without picking him up or playing with him, but now, he can crawl after us if we try to leave him. It's kind of fun to put in him down in the living room, and then see him come crawling around the corner into the kitchen. HE always has a big grin when we spot him, or he'll often laugh out loud. I can tell he's so pleased with himself. However, the big problem is I have to make sure my floors are clean (all my floors!), and there are no stray papers or dirt or small toys that he can find. That is a challenge!!

Yesterday he also pulled himself up from sitting to standing using the edge of the tub.

That kid of yours rocks! My little girl is 2 1/2 months old and I can't wait til she crawls around after me.

How old is the little guy?

God Bless

I had to laugh again as I see Jonathon crawling and getting up. I'm sure he is a regular little vaccum sweeper, picking up every little spec he sees and puts it in his mouth. Being so close to the floor I'm sure he finds them all.No wonder he is always smiling and laughing. That's really just another way for baby's to get stronger because they all do it as soon as they start crawling. Suddenly they start growing and are even healthier! It must come from cleaning the floor. Love Grandma C.
